A research visit to the University of Baghdad and the martyr statue was organized by the Department of Architecture at the College of Engineering. The methods of planning and design utilized in these two locations, as well as the implementation techniques used to develop them, were examined by students in the relevant subject. Because it is important in strengthening students’ scientific abilities in similar architectural designs within the criteria of the architectural design curriculum, this allows students the opportunity to combine theoretical studies with practical approaches.
One of the most important requirements for our students, according to department chair Dr. Haidar Naji Attia, is to engage in reality and stand onsite for the optimal conceptional learning.
The delegates also met with academics and students from the University of Baghdad’s Department of Architecture to exchange ideas and expand collaboration opportunities. This will compel and encourage students to connect with other Iraqi universities on similar scientific visits.
